COVID-19 Protocols for Massage and Spa at Bethany Clients
For the safety of our staff and clients we are taking many new precautions.
We now require all clients to sign a COVID-19 waiver.
You must complete a COVID-19 waiver online and it does require you to create a login. You may use this login to fill out all our required forms. It also gives you the option to book and cancel your appointments.
The following screening questions will be asked 48 hours before your appointment
- Have you had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100°F or above?
- Do you now, or have you recently had, any respiratory or flu symptoms, sore throat, or shortness of breath?
- Have you been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has coronavirus-type symptoms?
If you answered yes to any of these questions we will have to cancel the appointment.
We have changed our hours as we begin our reopening.
Monday- 10 am – 6:30 pm
Tuesday- 2 pm – 8 pm
Wednesday 10 am – 6:30 pm
Thursday 10 am – 6:30 pm
Friday 10 am – 6:30 pm
Sat and Sun 10 am – 5 pm

Massage and Spa at Bethany will be practicing social distancing and heightened safety precautions.
We will be staggering appointments to avoid as much interaction between clients as possible.
There will be very limited contact with our front desk staff. They will be assisting people mostly by phone.
All appointments will be done over the phone or online.
Online appointments are subject to approval to make sure we are limiting your contact with other clients. We are asking for a little bit of flexibility with your start time. It could change by 15 minutes sooner or later then your requested time. We will of course try to keep the time you chose.

Are you a new client?
We now require you to fill out your new client intake forms and a COVID-19 waiver online. This is done to prevent any more contact with our staff then is absolutely necessary.
The booking system we use does ask you to create a username and password.
Please bring your own water to your appointment as we can no longer offer it at this time.
We also suggest only bringing what you absolutely need. If you can leave purses and bags at home we would appreciate it but understand if you can not.
We will be sending online invoices so you can pay for your service without interaction with the front desk. You can either pay for your service before you arrive or you can pay after your service if you are able to do so with your mobile device before you leave. We are trying to avoid repeated touching of our credit card terminal.
Apple Pay and Android Pay are accepted.
No cash at this time.
What to expect when you arrive
When you arrive please call the front desk from your car and let us know you are here.
Your therapist or Aesthetician will meet you at the door.
Our waiting rooms are closed until further notice as we don’t want people congregating.
Please have your mask on as you enter.
Your temperature will be taken with a touchless thermometer and we will offer you hand sanitizer and then be shown to the treatment room or restroom if you need it.
We ask that you touch as little as possible on your way to the room and restroom.
The rooms will look different. We are taking out anything that is not needed during the massage. It may look a little bare but that leaves less to clean and the safer you are. The room will be disinfected thoroughly after each client with an epa approved product.
Try to touch as little as possible. We will now have plastic bins for you to put your clothes in. It will be disinfected between each service. Once undressed use hand sanitizer, keep your mask with you as you get on the table. When it is time for you to turn onto your back you will need to put your mask back on.
The table will have heat and padding but there will be a plastic barrier on top and then the sheets.
Each room will have a HEPA air purifier.
Your therapist will be wearing a mask, apron and possibly eye protection.
We are still offering CBD and Sombra gel, but will not be offering scrubs at this time.
When the session is over your therapist will remove their gloves, use hand sanitizer and use a paper towel on the door handle to exit.
Please redress, use hand sanitizer and exit the massage room.
Your therapist will walk you to the door.
All re-booking will be done over the phone or online until further notice, again we are trying to avoid as much contact with front desk staff as possible. This will need to be done on the same day as your completed service to receive the re-booking discount. Thank you
Feel free to call or email with any questions, comments or concerns. We ask that you either call to book appointments and not email asking for specific times. It actually takes longer. Our online booking is up and running if you want to book that way or you can also use it to look up availability.

Reception will be doing everything via phone and so it will have a heavier call volume.
We appreciate your patience through this changing time. We will do our best to make this an easy transition. This will be our new normal for however long it takes to keep everyone safe and still take care of your needs in the most caring and comfortable way.

Gift card purchases can be made online.
Already have a package or gift card on file? We can send you an invoice for your tip amount only if you like.
Therapists can still accept cash tips however, we have a plastic cash box that you will put the money in and we will spray with a hospital grade disinfectant where it will sit for 2 min and then given to your therapist.
If, after your massage, you become ill please notify us if it is less than 14 days since your service.
